OVERVIEW
The moon phase display of the Portugieser Perpetual Calendar deviates from the actual course of the moon by only one day in 577.5 years. On the perpetual calendar with double moon phase display, the different lunar cycles are mirrored for the northern and southern hemispheres. The model representing the double moon phases is adorned with the railway timer, typical of the Portugieser line. The watch designers represented the moon phase display complete with a night sky studded with stars, so that the moon and stars appear to float in infinite space. Moreover, these elegant modern timepieces leave nothing to be desired: perpetual calendar, four-digit year display, seven-day automatic movement with Pellaton winding and power reserve display. The watch is powered by a manufacture movement from the IWC 52000 calibre family with solid red gold oscillating weights and blued screws. The 18K white gold watch has a blue dial with an arched edge and is worn with a black alligator strap.
