PORTOFINO AUTOMATIC MOON PHASE 37

The appeal of the moon phase display is not just a matter of aesthetics – it is also a reminder that long before it appeared on mechanical timepieces, the moon was used to measure the passage of time. The stainless steel variant of the Portofino Automatic Moon Phase 37 with silver dial is worn with a dark brown alligator strap from Santoni. The sunburst finish of the dial exerts a special charm with fascinating luminous reflections that give the illusion of a swirling light when the watch is rotated. The slightly protruding inner circle and the 12 diamonds give more structure to the dial. This timepiece is waterproof to 3 bars and is powered by the automatic mechanical movement caliber 35800. The state of the Moon in the display can be adjusted by means of a correction pusher at “2 o’clock”. The center seconds hand is stopped by the crown and the sapphire crystal is anti-reflective on both sides.
