The watch dedicated to Cousteau is identical in construction to the Aquatimer Chronograph. The sleek dial follows the look of the first Aquatimer from 1967. Even with three counters and the date and day of the week display, the blue chronograph dial is not overloaded. The innovative external and internal rotating bezel mechanism, with the SafeDive system preventing unintentional adjustment of the dive time, makes the handling of the dive watch more convenient. As for the watertightness, it has been increased to 30 bars. In addition to standard timekeeping, the chronograph function allows for additional time measurements up to 12 hours, and the pushers can also be activated underwater. The engraving on the bottom shows the “Commander” wearing his famous cap.
