In the heart of Luxembourg’s capital, a mere stone’s throw from the Grand-Ducal Palace, MOLITOR has been welcoming lovers of timepieces and exclusive jewelry for over 60 years.
Jacques Molitor, master watchmaker, has been pursuing his passion for fine craftsmanship and exquisite materials since 1955 in a shop dedicated the most prestigious Names of watches- and jewelry manufacturers.
The corner building has been a jeweler’s address since the 18th century and was eventually given the name “Gëllenen Eck” (translated: Golden Corner).
MOLITOR is proudly carrying the title of Official supplier to the Grand Ducal Court since 1967.
In the nineties, a new establishment dedicated to Tableware and Crystalware, was opened a mere few steps from the main store in the Rue du Marché aux Herbes.
Today, the family business continues to prosper with the arrival of the third generation. Faithful to its tradition, the MOLITOR jewelry store perpetuates its heritage through a broad know-how and stands as a reliable partner for the most important brands in the Arts of watchmaking, jewelry and tableware.
WATCHMAKING WORKSHOP
The Molitor Watch and Jewellery Store is committed to providing an after-sales service worthy of a luxury watchmaking company, in its own “in-house” workshop.
Our watchmakers provide an on-site excellent service and rigorous follow-up of your watch. Approved and trained regularly in Switzerland by the most prestigious watch brands, the team ensures a reliable diagnosis as well as the authenticity of the components used for the maintenance of your timepiece.
Each rigorously checked and adjusted watch can resume its course on the wrist of its wearer and be transmitted from one generation to the next.
JEWELRY WORKSHOP
Thanks to our internal Jewelry Workshop, we make custom jewelry and transformations, according to your ideas and your creativity.
Over time, the jewel acquires a patina and changes. Our master jewelers ensure the longevity of your jewel and offer you a verification of the setting, polishing and rhodium plating as well as repairs and adjustments to restore it to its full beauty.
We also offer customizations and engravings.
